Very nice example of the black version of the Post War Black Baby Rolleiflex 4x4. Camera is in MINT/MINT- condition. Paint looks near perfect. Shutter speeds seem accurate. Lens elements and viewing screen are clean and clear. Almost no signs of use. No haze, fog, scratches. Comes with a NOS Boxed leather case with leather neck strap, lens cap, manual, and 3 filters. See our Rolleilux light meter hoods that work fine on the Bay 1 accessories page if you would like a Light Meter Hood combo.. A collectors item for sure!
$1,075 full set
Although it appears the same outside as the Gray Baby, it is quite different mechanically, less plastic parts and generally higher quality materials, from what I have read. This one also has black coarse grained real leather. Rollei listed this camera with either the Tessar or Xenar lens but no cameras with a Tessar lens have been reported.
This Baby is in EX+++ condition with no majors scratches or dings, just some very tiny nicks here and there, difficult to see in the photos as they are so small. Lenses are clean and clear. It includes lens cap and neck strap and I have added the proper brown ERC case in EX++ to the set as well. See our Rolleilux light meter hoods that work fine on the Bay 1 accessories page if you would like a Light Meter Hood combo. Has been fully CLA'd and is ready to go.

QUICK LINKS - NAVIGATION
FILM AVAILABILITY: All of these "Baby's" use 127 Film, and while it is not as readily available as the 35, or even 120, it is still available, and we believe that there are enough people around that are still interested in this format that it will be for some time to come. We have found it occasionally on Amazon, but the following two links are usually a good bet. There are probably others as well but these two have served us well.
B&H Photo, New York: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Roll-Film/ci/2545/N/4093113317 (or search their site, they deliver promptly to almost anywhere in the world)
Frugal Photographer, Canada: http://www.frugalphotographer.com/ These guys source or produce small runs of film a few times a year to keep it fresh, and they also deliver to almost anywhere, check them out. And they sell other 'rare' old films as well as well as provide helpful links as to where to get it developed, and even links to other smaller firm type of film suppliers.
This is the last of our Baby family, for now, yet another excellent Black version of the Post War Black Baby Rolleiflex 4x4. Camera is in MINT- condition, one faint scratch at the viewing hood top/back, similar to but smaller than the camera above. Very slight signs of use. Lens elements and viewing screen are clean and clear. No haze, fog, scratches, overall a real beauty. Comes with the proper ERC leather case with original neck strap and lens cap. See our Rolleilux light meter hoods that work fine on the Bay 1 accessories page if you would like a Light Meter Hood combo. A very nice camera in collectors condition. Has been CLA'd at AV Camera and is working like new.

The Rolleiflex Post War Black Baby: This is the most rare of the 4 X 4 cameras. It had a very small production run (Less than 5,000 were ever made) and is much sought after by collectors.
